Update 3/23/26

Hello everyone! I'm excited to finally announce that we have reached THE END OF THE CROSSWORD BACKLOG!!! If you weren't aware, most of the puzzles I've released on this site were puzzles that I created and finished many months (in a few cases, a year) before they were released publically. I've been just going through and picking a puzzle to release each week. However, we are now at an interesting point in time where I have no more puzzles to release right now. I'll get into it a bit further at the end of this post.

If you're not a fan of my larger puzzles, then don't worry! Week 28 of weekly puzzles are here! Due to the theme of this week's puzzles, I experimented with using a lot more 2-letter-word entries in these grids, so I hope that isn't to jarring for you. Best of luck!

I'm also releasing another Saturday-difficulty puzzle that I constructed late last month. I originally marked it as a Friday puzzle, but all of my playtesters seemed to struggle more than usual with this one, so I figured I'd reflect that in its difficulty rating. Needless to say, I think this is a really fun grid with a lot of interesting entries with clues that I'm especially proud of [Enthusiast who's loco for locomotives (12)].

So, now that my backlog is empty, what is the future of this site going to look like? Well, for starters, nothing drastically different than you're used to. While I'm unable to commit myself to make and upload a fully complete and playtested crossword puzzle every week because, y'know, work, I'll still be making them every now and again for the site. I'll still be making the weekly Bit, Nibble, and Bite for as long as people continue to play them. They're really fun for me to experiment with new ideas and themes.

Despite what I just said however, I will have another full-sized crossword uploaded next week that's currently in the playtesting phase. It should be ready in time, so I won't be starving you all just yet! Thanks for playing my puzzles everyone, and happy solving!
